August 01 2019, Markham Honda
The 10th-generation Honda Civic combines some of the latest innovations with a new design to create another outstanding compact sedan. If you haven’t looked at this global best-seller, you should. For this model year, five well-equipped trims comprise the sedan model line this year: DX, LX, EX, Sport, and Touring.
New Exterior Styling and Features in the 2019 Honda Civic Sedan
With the updated exterior, you will turn heads on the road. The aerodynamic roof, flowing lines, and sharp front end demands attention. Combined with practical standard equipment, the Civic is ready for Canadian roads.
The base DX has 16” wheels fitted with all-season tires meant to cut through changing road conditions. The LX increases visibility with auto on/off project-beam headlights. And when you want a little fun, the EX’s one-touch moonroof opens the skies.
The Sport model widens the tires with 18” wheels, and the Touring surrounds itself with LED exterior lighting, rain-sensing wipers, and much more.
Reliable Power and Trusted Efficiency in the 2019 Honda Civic
The DX, LX, EX, and sport trims receive a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine that produces 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. The Touring model upgrades to a turbocharged 1.5-litre version that boosts horsepower to 174 and torque to 162 lb-ft. The DX’s and LX’s six-speed manual transmission has a combined fuel consumption of 8.0 l/100 km. All other trims (LX optional) have the efficient CVT automatic transmission that lowers consumption to just 7.1 l/100 km. All models feature the ECON button that assists in the most efficient operation possible.
Each Civic interior is packed with standard features that enhance convenience, safety, and comfort. The DX has a HandsFreeLink wireless mobile phone interface, rearview camera, and remote entry. The LX adds Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Display Audio System, and heated front seats.
EX owners receive dual-zone automatic climate control with an air filtration system, remote start, and a driver’s seat with 8-way adjustments. Aluminum-trimmed sport pedals feature in the Sport model, and the touring trim upgrades to HD Radio, leather-trimmed seating surfaces, voice recognition, and more. All trims have a standard suite of driver-assist technology.
